🚨 Latest scam & risk alerts
Representative active-scam patternsFake "wallet migration" emails impersonating a major hardware wallet
Phishing emails claim you must "migrate" your wallet and enter your seed phrase on a lookalike site. No wallet ever asks for your seed.
"Guaranteed 5% daily" staking platform showing withdrawal delays
Users report being unable to withdraw. Guaranteed high fixed returns are a classic Ponzi red flag.
Romance / "pig-butchering" scam ring pushing a fake trading app
Victims are groomed over weeks, then directed to a fraudulent app that shows fake profits until they try to cash out.
Abandoned token: team wallets emptied, socials gone dark
Once-active project shows on-chain signs of a slow rug — liquidity pulled in stages. Added to our dead-project watchlist.
🚩 Red flags to memorise
Anyone asking for your seed phrase
No legitimate wallet, exchange, or "support agent" will ever ask for your recovery phrase. This is always a scam.
Guaranteed or fixed high returns
"5% a day", "risk-free", "guaranteed profit" — real markets don't work that way. High fixed yields signal a Ponzi.
Urgency & countdown pressure
"Act now or miss out." Pressure to move fast is designed to stop you thinking. Real opportunities wait.
Giveaways asking you to send first
"Send 1 ETH, get 2 back." No one doubles your crypto. Celebrity/livestream giveaways are impersonation scams.
Anonymous team, no real track record
No verifiable team, audit, or history — and a whitepaper full of buzzwords — is a reason to walk away.
Unsolicited DMs & "help" in comments
Fake support accounts swarm anyone posting a problem. Only ever use official links from a verified source.
